What we cover

Acre Play (Kids Play Pty Ltd, ABN 87 657 515 243) warrants that the furniture we supply will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for:

• 5 years on structure: frames, panels, joints, fixings and legs.
• 2 years on moving parts and finishes: hinges, drawer runners, castors, latches, and surface coatings such as paint, laminate and edging.

Both periods run from the date of delivery.

What is not covered

• Normal wear and tear, including scuffs and fading from sunlight.
• Damage from misuse, accidents, or use beyond the product's intended purpose.
• Failure to anchor storage furniture to the wall where the product information says it should be anchored.
• Damage from incorrect assembly, or from repairs or modifications not made by us.
• Damage from water, moisture or chemicals, except on products sold for outdoor use.
• Freight damage that is not reported within 7 days of delivery.

How to make a claim

Email hello@acreplay.com.au with your order number, a description of the problem and a few clear photos. We aim to respond within 5 business days. We may ask for the item to be inspected or returned.

What we'll do

If a claim is accepted we will, at our option, repair the item, replace it, or refund you. We cover reasonable freight for approved claims.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is in addition to those rights, not instead of them.
